Gary,

Although it doesn't show it a a suitable fit on a Z4M-Roadster on the Tirerack site, I think The ASA AR1 Black would fit my Z4MR in the following sizes:

Front, 18x8 ET40 5x120 (OEM size 18x8 ET42 5x120)
Rear, 18x8 ET18 5x120 (OEM size 19x8 ET30 5x120)

I want to install 225/45-18 winter tyres all round, I'm aiming for the outer face of the wheel to be as close to the original OEM wheels as possible.

Would that be a suitable combination?

Also, will the BMW caps fit those ASA wheels, or do I need to go the roundel sticker route? I'm assuming that the BMW lug bolts are a direct fit and the wheels are hubcentric for the Z4MR, is that correct?

Additionally, do the ASA EM9 wheels in Satin Silevr come in similar sizes to the AR1s?

Thanks.

This fitment looks okay to me, but I'm confirming front brake clearance before I give it my blessing. I'll post when I find out.

The EM9 is no longer in production, sorry.

Very tight clearance to the top of the caliper. Less than 4mm of clearance so this may indeed rub on the brakes. I would highly suggest ordering just one wheel and test fitting first to be sure they clear on your car.

Is there another wheel in an 18x8 size all around that has a similar look and price (BBS mesh or similar style, $250 per wheel max) that would be a good fit for the Z4M? I'm not a fan of the 17" Borbet TS for the winter tyres, although this is a known fitment.

Gary,

Looks like the AR1 isn't the best way to go for the winter wheels, but one other possibility is the 18x8.5 TRMotorsport MT1 Matte Grey, 4 all round with either 18mm or 20mm spacers in the back and appropriate lug bolts. Are these wheels 72.5mm hub-centric?

If these are suitable wheels, are you able to put together a suitable package for the Z4M with 225/45-18 Sottozero 240 tyres, wheels and mounting hardware?

Thanks!
