Ok Guys and Gals, maybe,
My son and I are in the process of replacing the fuel filter on his 1989 535i e34 m30 engine. Before I could get a look at the placement of the fuel filter, ie: directionof flow he took the filter and bracket off the car. Now i have no refference point to reinstall the filter. I think it goes tapered end to the inboard but he swears its tapered end out. Inboard should be direction of flow from tank to engine, any help greatly appreciated.
