Rarest 8?

I know zero about 8ers except they are relatively rare but what are some of the more rarer ones here in the US?

There's a pic in this thread here (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27399) of a 850CSi in Daytona Violet which is the only one of it's kind, at least in the US.

Before jumping on the E39 bandwagon, I test-drove a Dinan twin-turbo 850i down near San Diego. Pretty insane mid to top-end power, but it wasn't in the best condition and had an obvious oil leak.

Sorta seemed like the guy's wife was forcing him to sell it (had been on the market for 8+ mos) and he didn't really want to give it up. :)
