View Full Version : Triangle
Hey viet,
Does your triangle fit in the tool kit with the plastic case it came with? I had to take it out to put it in the bmw tool kit.
Thanks for the Triangle!

PS - If NE1 is looking for the warning triangle for their pre-05/00 E39, you should check out LeatherZ (http://leatherz.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=01&Product_Code=WarnTriangle&Category_Code=SafetyConvenience). More than a couple folks bought from them and gave good feedback.
You can read up on the missing triangles on my DIY site (http://bmwdiy.info/warning-triangle/index.html), since it's not on BMWTips.com yet...jk.

well, was a nice case... I dont want to toss it but I guess I have no use for it.
Hey you have Tej's email? I have a Polishing questions for him.
I have rust on my calipers and thinking of painting it silver. but... I rather not paint it if I could just remove the rust.
I used a wire brush on it a few weeks ago and it looks almost polished but knowing after driving the car in rain it'll start rusting again.
I'm hoping if there is some metal polisher I could use ... that would withstand the heat of a brake caliper to protect it from future rust.

Let me know what works cuz I'll probably do the same in lieu of a big brake upgrade.

sure, send the larger pics and a few more.. about 7 or 8 pics to fill up the blank spaces.
I'll make a few so you can pick.
