One of my OE wheels had rough, sharp burrs on the inside spoke edges. All four wheels are manufactured by Superior Industries, Inc. http://www.supind.com/index.html headquartered in California with plants in Arkansas, Kansas, and Mexico.
My local BMW dealer agreed to replace the defective wheel under warranty. As there was no inventory in the US the new wheel was shipped in from BMW AG. The new wheel is manufactured by Austria Alu-Guss http://www.aluguss.com/ , a subsidiary of Borbet. No sharp casting burrs and the color matches the Superior wheels perfectly.
