i saw this car for sale ontop of the shopping centre i work in.
anyway i came home and looked it up on carsales.com.au

what on earth are these front seats!? and where do i get myself some!!?

(yes im aware the car is a lame colour and has lame stripes, and looks like rice. ignore that, im interested in the seats)

The vader seats come stock in Sport E36 M3's, believe it or not, but there is such a thing as a luxury E36 M3.

Luxury M3= No front lip/chin spoiler on the front bumper, "slat" style front bumper grill instead of mesh, "smooth" style side skirts, softer less supporting lux seats, and the dreaded wood interior.

Sport M3= OEM Front lip/chin spoiler, Mesh front bumper grill, "twisty" sport sideskirts, regular plastic/vinyl interior, and of course the awesome "Vader" seats.

Vaders ftw.

so where can i buy them, besides obviously Ebay or a BMW joint which would prob chage like 3grand a seat

last ones I saw on ebay went for $1200.00 from memory, had no spare $$ @ the time.
I have been keeping my eyes open for a set even worn out ones, quite happy to re-upholster a set.

Honestly, I hate to say this but I see them for sale on bimmerforums all the time, they are usually about $600 for two, but I have seen absolutely MINT vaders sell for about $800-$1000. The price is well worth it if you have the money IMO, they are one of the best looking OE seats out there. When you have a nice clean black set of vaders they look like they belong in a Ferarri or something, but the best part is they are BMW. :thumbup:

$1200 is too much, keep looking, you can find a very nice set for under a thousand dollars.

I think shipping would cost way to much from Europe or even Nth America/Canada, other wise I would just ship a set over!
A M3 bumper was going to cost me $250+ from US in freight.

Anyone wanna go halves in a whole friggin container of goodies LOL be cheaper
Might just have to investigate....
