Just sold my BMW 318IS :bawling:
I went form 1.3 escort - 1.8 BMR and now going back to a escort or similar:thumbup:
For now...

My plan is to buy a 323/325/328 standard, i or m-tech,
Overhaul the whole car-to nearly new condition-mainly engine and'driving' parts (only do what needs changing/serviced/upgraded.) Will service everything though! Engine/steering+suspension+bushs/brakes/gearbox/(and some parts inbetween) ect. And use it for the odd track day+ 'nerveburg' is on the list I want to upgrade some parts and *cost* will be a big issue,

I have a few questions and wondered if someone can help or please let me know how to find out

First up: Is it worth getting an m-tech? I will be changing/upgrading some parts anyway

Also: Which one??? *cost* parts/upgrades/insurance/ petrol. i know...
Where can i find the cost of parts online (uk pref) & specs for bmws
*My Project Car*

THIS HAS BEEN ON MY MIND SINCE MY CARS BEEN FOR SALE: IF I KNOW THESE THINGS I WILL BE MORE DETERMINED AS I'LL KNOW ROUGHLY WHAT I'M SAVING UP FOR. *THANKS*!!!

are u planning on modding the engine that comes with ur car?? if so then u might as well try to get the 3.0 m3. if ur planning on doing a complete 'overhaul' then u should just choose the car u like the most. but since cost is an issue, i cant see you doing a complete overhaul on anything but your escort. good luck

Would want to overhaul most of the engine (even if it means a year longer in the escort!)
Will upgrade: Brakes/suspension+bushs ect/gearbox/ important bits inbetween
Cost is an issue mostly as far as the cheapest option goes all things taken into accouut (if theres a real difference)
