it turns over like you can hear the car trying to crank up
but it will not actually start running..
any ideas of what this may be?
we took it through the car wash then when we got home about 2 hours later tried to start it and it did not crank.
but it is trying to

Im having the same problem. I had mine sit all winter, connected the battery and would not start up.
I'm thinking it might be my fuel pump. But Im not sure.

I have an interesting issue where the power connector on top of my fuel pump occasionally dislodges. It will stay connected just enough to run, but after awhile it will arc and develop a carbon buildup and won't conduct anymore... so i have to re-seat it.
It will choose not to start in the morning, then start later in the day just fine.
it's a possibility, but probably not likely.

it could be lots.
but first, try kicking your fuel pump, generally it will allow the engine to start, but die, but u then know it's the fuel pump.
ignition coil. <--what sends the sparks from the distributer to each spark plug.
could be your battery lol.
could be your starter
could be tons. more info like kennedy said plz
