I am interested in replacing my shocks with Bilsteins soon.

Does anyone know the difference in ride between Bilstein Heavy Duty, Monotube, and Sport (besides ride height change).

Any information will help me decide which to choose.

Are you dropping it or leaving it the same height?

To drop it, you want the Bilstein Sports, BUT you have to have lowering springs or it will be crap.
The HD's will be good for OEM springs, but if you lower you'll need new shocks or you'll blow them.
The shocks don't change the height, the springs do, but you have to match the shocks to the springs.

How far dropped are you, Evan? That will determine whether the Sport's will be sufficient or if you need something even lower.

I have NO clue about distributors in the land of Oz. Bilstein's page my have info on that, though.

i understand what changes ride height and all, but what i was wondering is what is the difference in performance/ comfort between the shocks... i havent decided if i want to lower it yet. I want to know what the ride is like before i decide to do something like that. Anyone know the difference?
