EdCT, Fredric, Kamdog, me and 5 other Festers did a cruise through Litchfield County Ct. this afternoon. We had 9 cars and 13 people.

We drove on some beautiful back roads with great scenery

We stopped for lunch at the Hopkins Inn in Preston.

And ended the day in Kent Ct. where we lined the cars up on Main Street to impress Mr. and Mrs. Camry.

Unfortunately, Mr. and Mrs. Camry were nowhere to be found. Mr. and Mrs. Lambo, however, were parked across the street from us.
We were seriously out-statused!

Nice pics. Funny how times change, when I was in high school in CT we drove rusty cars with bad suspensions and holes in the floors. The holes were good for dropping beer cans while you moved along. The only German cars were ratty VW's. Good times...:p

Very nice.

Just_Bryce organized a group of us Fla folks recently and it was really nice to put faces to screen names. Mrs. Wingspan was mildly surprised to learn I do not associate with wierdo's and internet junkies, and that the people on Bimmerfest are actually normal.

The pictures look superb and I'm sure you all had a great time. On behalf of all the status-challenged (owning a previous model series as I do), I know none of you will respond to this post :D, but I salute you.

We had me, Plaz, Equ, Kamdog, Pinoy-330cic, Captain Audio, Fredric, DaveZ, and my friends Greg and Jan.

Equ brought his lovely girlfriend and Pinoy his wife and 3 year-old.

My wife has been sidelined with a back injury or she would've come.

We'll have some of the same folks in a couple of weeks at Bimmerfest day at Lime Rock and some guys who couldn't make this cruise will be there too.

Some of the folks from yesterday's event I've met before, but some I've known a long time on these boards and have never met - I'm now glad I have

An absolutely wonderful day in fabulous touring weather. Somehow, when you cross the Connecticutt border, everything looks so much better.

It was great fun!!
