I recently bought 2008 BMW 328i montego blue

I'm thinking about installing clear bra.

I found XPEL. & I made few phone calls to get a clear bra for hood(24" extended), fender, bumper and mirrors.

Claer Guard for Cars, Inc. ------------> $525
they use 3M product. XPEL

Umbra ------------->$475
installer prefers using some other brand which is called ventureshield
he also told me that I could choose XPEL instead of ventureshield.

Anyone installed clear bra in chicago area?????
which one should I go?

which one is more reputable? I don't mind if I have to pay $50 more for a better and reputable store.

I am installing mine in Philadelphia next week at a reputable place- the price is $425 for a convertible- the only thing you need to keep in mind is that you need to find out about the WARRANTY- for the product- especially the warranty against fading and discoloration . I know that some companies warranty the materials and labor for ANY fading- just something to keep in mind

Go to the 3M website. It should have a list of people in your state that have/install it. BMW wanted $600 for it. I found a guy to do it for $150 (hood, doors and mirrors).

I used Tim and Rich Kirlin from MOTO-FX. They do all the high-end cars at Fox Valley Motors (Lotus, etc.).

I was very happy with their work. They did a friend of mine's Viper the same day. They use venture tape which was bought by 3M. I beleive they have other choices as well.

I believe they are a little more expense than the prices you quoted but they will come to you to do the work, use 24 inch sheets and hand cut their work (verses kits).
