You could do much better on a car on the lot now. Premium package credit is available for May. I'd offer 55,510 for your configuration + doc fees (no more than $50)+ reg fees + tax. But that's here in So. Cal.

Then I'd shoot for $1000-$1500 over invoice price (get it from Edmunds.com) + doc fees + reg fees + tax. (disregarding anything such as maco + training. Let the dealer deal with those details).

invoice according to edmunds is $57,870. So I ended up with about $900 over invoice in the end.

$900 is decent and fair. Congrats on your deal.++
I got $500 over invoice in an ordered 4.8i at the beginning of May. The invoiced price to the dealer included a $180 training fee that they wouldn't take out of the mix. There is also a $625 bank fee that gets added to the cap cost if you are leasing the car. I used that as the argument to get them down to $500 over (they started at $2,400 over, plus the $625).
