I just got a really clean BMW 750IL and it needs some work, I don't really have the time or patience right now to mess with it. The BMW has 123k miles on the clock, V-12 5.0 engine, runs and drives but needs some work. MSRP back in 91 was over $75,000.00. It is currently in limp mode. Car is located in SE WI. Has clear title.

Nobody?

The car was diagnosed/scanned by a local tech and he said that it needs new cap, rotor and wires on the 7-12 bank. The tranny didn't show any bad codes. I love the car but I prefer small sportscars and the parts are pretty expensive. I would rather just sell/trade it as I am pretty short on cash at present.

The price is very negotiable :thumbup:!!!!!

Looking for something smaller or maybe even a truck to pull my tow dolly around with.

Who said the car lived it's life in Wisconsin? It is clean and has no rust damage. I really don't want to even start working on it as I have a few other much nicer (and cheaper to work on) cars. I was trying to give a deal to somebody that I though might appreciate it and at the same time getting some of my $$$ back :thumbup:.

So what if your little 89 E30 has less miles. They are not even remotely similar cars. The E30 is the budget BMW and the E32 was their flagship model. MSRP on the 750I was over $75,000.00 what did your E30 list for? Probably something like $15,000.00. Is yours the I or the E version? Probably the e. I currently own a decent 1980 BMW 323i (grey market car) with many mods that is REALLY FAST and have no use for the V-12 monster that I was trying to sell here. LOL.

Kind of wondering why there is no interest in the 750I? Since it was supposed top be their flagship model? Is $1500.00 too much to ask? A local tech looked at the car and said that it just needs a tune up with wires. I don't have the time or money to stick into the car and was hoping for a quick sale. Thanks for the input though. Jim
