I have an '06 X3 and would like to know if there is a product made that fits on the sharp point of the rear passenger doors{ the lower part of the door nearest the wheel well}. I have a 7 year old daughter and when she opens the rear door in our garage she sometimes hits my wifes 545 with the door. It is the sharp point of the X3's door that contacts the car next to it, leaving a tidy down to bare metal divot. I only have one divot in the 545 but I would like to avoid others like it. Any help would be appreciated. And yes, I am keeping the 7 year old.

I looked at clearbumper.com. I actually ordered one sheet to dress the rear bumper of my 08 X3 that I just picked up on Sat. There is also clearbra.com. However, I think that of the two the clear bumper people are less opportunistic. they give you a better product and a bit more honesty regarding the "solutions" you need to use to apply the product. It is nothing but a 3M plastic sheet anyway. Only problem is that to buy a 39yd roll you need $600+ as it is airspace quality, so the 5 feet length they sell for $100+ is a bit steep in absolute value. Nevertheless, it is much cheaper than any paint job and ding removal so I hope / think it is worth it.
