I have recently ordered an X3. I ordered it with the Sirius but I would rather have XM. I am thinking that since the Sirius is a dealer add item I should be able to cancel that before I take delivery. I see that Bavarian Soundwerks sells an XM add on kit. Has anyone added this to a newer X3 and how does it work?

Thanks

As long as you have Business CD (not NAV), XM Direct can be added to your X3. :)

Tom,
How does XM Direct connect to the Sirius antenna already provided on the vehicle? Is there an adapter connector?

If you take the plastic fakra connector off of the antenna, it can be used with your XM. We have locking antenna adapters if you feel it is needed, but isn't necessary.
