Awesome ZHP ad on June C&D

Got mine yesterday. It's somewhere in the first 100 pages. Two-page spread of an Imola red (of course!:thumbup: ) ZHP speeding. Looks great. Now I have to move heaven and earth until I can find that photo as a poster and get it framed so I can put it in my garage.:D :bigpimp:

Somehow the color looks almost burgundy, but I guess it's the lighting.

Sounds cool. Reminds me of the old e46 ads that showed a nose shot of the car and the rest of the background was all blurry. I'll have to go look for it. How many more days till you leave..? I know it's killing you. :D

Yes, but did you notice that in the text of the ad they list a number of attributes of the ZHP package, and conspicuously absent is any mention of revised suspension settings? This, coupled with Vince's post the other day about the ETK showing the same part numbers for the ZHP as for all other 330i SP cars, makes me scratch my head. I wonder if BMW has changed its plans with respect to the ZHP suspension... :confused:

I did notice that. I attributed it to the fact that there were many other things that got left out. But you are right, given the importance of the "upgraded suspension" I was a little surprised.

I'm just surprised that no one has scanned and posted the images of the 7 and Z4 from the EU pedestrian safety article claiming that they are spy pics of "emergency restyling" :D

The picture of the ZHP looked great, but yes the lighting did make it look a little dark.

If they restyle the front end, I'm gonna have a hearattack, it looked really bad.

I don't know why they did anything with the Z4, it's a US spec car, does it go to the EU?

That is exactly what I thought . . . I had to do a double take because the Imola red looked like it was more towards the burgandy color then the bright red

If you are talking about the pictures I mentioned, those were just illustrations of what kind of effect the proposed regulations could have on design.

Well, I'm driving the car everyday. Without a doubt it rides and handles so different from a 330i SP. Do I need any more proofs? I don't care what they did (or not) to the suspension, I only know that it puts smile on my face every time I make a turn. I'm sure that mbr129 is going to say the same thing after the trip.

I'm surprised that BMW is spending such marketing dollars on an option package. They're running that ad in every car publication I've gotten this month so far.

Just a couple of notes. Saw the ZHP in Imola Red at the L.A. auto show when it was announced, and no way is it similar to Burgundy. It pretty much looks like the picture in mbr129's sig.

Also, there is is NO way that the springs and shocks on a ZHP and an SP are the same. The ride and handling are substantially different, and the ZHP sits lower. I can only assume that the ETK that Vince has just doesn't have all of the changes made to the ZHP yet.
