Just wondering how others are hauling their bike(s) around - inside, topside, or off the back ? Bimmer rack or other (e.g. Thule) ? and if you're hauling topside with the front wheel removed with a non-Bimmer rack, I'd be especially interested in knowing which brand and model ?

Yakima top rack w/wheel inside. Car's not too tall, so it works. Just watch out for low overhead clearance.

I've been cheating and hauling my mountain bike inside, utilising the interior rails and hooks to tie down the bike without actually buying the interior bike rack. However, I may purchase a hitch-mounted Thule rack in the future, although I guess I'd have to buy the BMW hitch and install it first.
