As always, now that I've had the car for a couple of weeks, I've started wondering if I paid too much. :dunno: The car is perfect. Gotta stress about something!

With xenons, heated seats, sunroof, the MSRP was $41,645. Selling price was $40,339 (5.8% over invoice of $38,120). That's considerably more than I'm used to paying over invoice, but this is a hot car and the price was lower than Edmunds TMV ($40,397).

Just curious about other experiences.

Can't say, I promised not to. But I can tell you I paid less over then I did for the xiT :D

I wouldn't sweat it. Your deal doesn't sound bad. It is a hot car right now and alot of dealers around here won't even go below MSRP on cars like this.

I'm EDing mine so was able to get closer to invoice. But that's cause ED vehicles don't come out of dealer allocations. Plus I have to go get it. Well, in my case, it's "get" to go get it, since I love going to Germany.

That is in line. I paid 5% over invoice which is pretty much the same deal as when I ordered my 00 323 back in 99.

I got bent over on the wagon but BMWNA and my dealer took care of me on the new unit. Bottom line, a deal we were all happy with :bigpimp:

Sounds fairly similar to what I paid, although my only option was the Xenons, so I only got $800 off sticker. Whatever that calculates out to be.

Black Sapphire 330i
Black Ancantara/Black cube
Performance package
Xenon
Moonroof
Cold package
MSRP $42620

In celebration of sending my last rugrat to college, I decided to break away from the Minivan curse and buy myself a real car. I email my three local Bimmer dealers and offer each 3% over invoice of $39005. One never bothered to reply and the other two quickly answered and cried :cry:about the "hidden" BMW expenses such as $240 Dealer Ad Group, $268 Preparation Detail State Inspection, Car Key Memory and $85 Floormats. So, to make a long story short, 3% to me was not 3% to them!

Not willing to see their children go hungry and shoeless I offered 5% and after a month long battle of playing one against the other, I ended up at 5.2% (41050) including floor mats and a car cover, which I thought was fair on a ZHP.

I'm on status 150 now :drive: and can't wait!!!

Congrats on the order:thumbup:

The hidden fees are known, so I include them in a total amount over invoice when I make a deal. I figure $300 total for advertising/mats/prep.

You will love Sapphire :bigpimp:

Thanks Dr. Phil-:D

I know this is off topic but when it comes time to shining up your new baby, let me know what system works the best. I can't afford to quit my day job to keep this car "liquid looking."

Will do, at this point looks like Griot's products, PC application, microfiber removal. May mix in a P21S application of wax to boot:D My first big challenge is getting the polishing down to s science, grey green spoiled me

Here is what I paid for mine:

+ Silver Grey Metallic
+ Black Leather
+ ZHP
+ moonroof
+ xenon

MSRP: $42,870.00

I paid $45,000 exactly out the door (that included tax, reg, docs, everything) which worked out to around $1600 something over invoice.

BTW, I bought my car off the lot (it was the dealer's second ZHP to arrive and it was still under wraps--not PDC'ed--when I bought it.
