I just recently installed my DDM with AE and HID. Some things took a while to figure out (wiring) but other than that, everything worked and looked great!

Today after driving around I came home and turned on my lows in my garage just to make sure they still worked alright. For the first time, my left blinker stayed on with them and my right blinker will not work.
The same happens when I just have my angel eyes on too.

I tried diconnecting the battery, but I still have this problem....Any ideas?

Dunno on ur type of e36 but my e46 will do the same if one of the angel eyes blows or the wire is loose.. Its all part of the wiring and the computer...Like I said tho I dunno if it its the same deal on ur e36...

Thanks for the ideas guys. I thought it was AE related too, then I tok out my headlights and disconnected everything and put them back to stock to see. Still having this problem, so at least it's not related to the new lights.

I can also hear a noise for a second behind my dash when I turn on my lights...doesn't sound good.

After searching, I believe that it is the blinker relay. But after searching I came up with the crash relay also.

One is located in the fuse box and is the big black one...it looks fine.
The other is located in the steering column but I don't know what to look for...

Solved. Faulty bulb, not burned out, but shorting the rest of the wiring.
What a relief!
