94 318i hood swap

hello im new to the bmw world and i need a hood for my new 318i its a 94 4 door and i need a hood , well i found one at my local yard its a 96 328i 2 door will this hood work for my car?

just wanna know did bmw change the hood lenght or width on these hoods?
I have the 4 and this hood is off a 6 my car isnt here now and i need find out can anyone help i thought they were the same and could swap the fenders hoods and the trunk lids

Coupe hood is different from sedan hood.

Won't work.

Trunk won't fit, hood won't fit. The hood may fit with new front fenders but then your lights won't fit.

Not worth it.

well crap i need a hood and there is a nice 328is sitting in my local yard
very nice car it was t-boned but it just got the edge of the door and rear quarter
the hood is perfect thats why i was asking i swear it all looked exactly the same , oh well its my luck find it but it doesnt work oh well
