I'm pretty much a newbie and I've got two cars to do. My gray 745Li and my wife's black 4Runner.
I've got what I need for cleaner/polisher but I haven't picked a sealant. I've been using Meg's #26 but I'd like something that lasts longer.
Thanks in advance.

Are all of them pretty much good-to-go without wax over top?
I've heard a lot of good things about PB-EX and 4*. Need to decide which one. . . .

Yes you do not need to top a sealant with a wax...the one that I use the most is Poorboys EX-P but his EX has some carnuba in it so that might be the best of both worlds for you

I've been using Klasse AIO and SG topped off w/ PS21 for several years. The Klasse lasts a very long time - by that I mean it stays on the car for a very long time and one bottle goes a really long way (this is why I haven't tried others like PB yet). I only do a full detail 1-2x per year. Of course, I'm in So Cal too and the car's garaged when not in use.

I meant to say EX-P. Sounds like that would be a good choice for me.

I've read that SG is sometimes difficult to work with. For my virgin voyage into the land of detailing, I don't want to make it more difficult on myself. :D

I used Zaino for a few years. Always liked it, just didn't like the time it took to do a few coats. Although you don't necessarily HAVE to do more than one coat.

I'm all about just one coat.

I used Klasse SG and did not find it difficult to use. However, I recently tried Wolfgang and the difference in application / removal is like night and day. Wolfgang is simply great in my opinion. Its so easy to apply and buff off, Ive done several coats - even though I was only planning to do one originally.

i just klassed and sg'd my bimmer and my wife's civic with no problems at all. you just have to use it sparingly. its not like putting on wax. i also used the P21S wax and love the way my car shines. it feels like an accomplishment when you look at the finished product.

Zaino only takes long at the time of first detail. Once that is done then maintainance with Z5 or Z8 is really easy and quick. There is no need to use AIO every time you wax. At least this is the way I have found it to be. :dunno:
Again, the trick is to apply a thin layer and you can just buff that out in 5 minutes for the whole car.

Not to derail my own thread too much but does PB PwS have fillers in it? Here's part of the description:
By hand it works like a sealant or glaze and by machine can remove swirl marks as well as light scratches and haze, while leaving a sealant behind for protection.
Isn't a glaze a filler? :dunno:
Thanks.

Yes a pure glaze has fillers. What I think Steve is saying is the sealant works like a glaze in the shine part not the fill part...the correction part that it states is from the polish removing some of the swirls, that's what polishing is.
I have a gallon of his P-w-S and as a AIO type of product its one of my go to on details...IMO it rakes Klasse over the coals...from ease of use, cost, shine, use in the sun, by hand or machine, etc.
If I was a guy like you looking for a way to protect my car with the least amount of time...the P-w-S or P-w-C and his EX would be the choice...these are the same steps that you would take with the Klasse twins
