Saw two on the road the other day.... I think it's way cool. I wish I could trade my Angel Eyes for a set of the Eye-Brows... But not a chance to give up a Bimmer for an Audi! =D

+1 Audi's new look is hawt!
Yes, they are COOL.
But I'm not sure "eyebrows" are the appropriate name since they generally are above the "eyes", not below. ;)

I do like the Eyebrows, BUT, and it's a big but, they really are forcing those LEDs on every model. Really week to see how the designers need to make room for the LEDs. Plus, I would keep it reserved for the top models... like the S/RS/R models. Not on every A4 1.6 lease...

I would gladly trade my E65 for an '04+ A8. That's the only time I've ever considered that though.

the A8 is styled way to boring, the drive isn't as good as the beamer and well... It's an Audi...
It's a matter of feeling, and my feeling says that the 7-series is way better than the A8.

Unless someone can prove to me the A8 is not any better reliability-wise, I'm afraid I did just say that :(
Like I said though, no way I'd ever trade a Bimmer for any Audi otherwise. It doesn't help matters I actually like the A8s proportioned looks.

The A8 lacks emotion, better said, it doesn't have any.

Nah, it has plenty of emotion. Cars that don't have emotion are Lexus LS!! They have NEGATIVE emotion! ;)

I wont mind getting rid of the 7 and drive S-5 they are really nice looking and powerfullI drove the S5.
It's a great GT car, accept for the sporty chairs, they will get you a back acke within 2 hours.
And sporty? not at all.
So I'm a bit puzzled wherefore you should buy a S5...

WOW the seat bolster on that S5 is already worn! BMW leather holds up quite a bit longer than that.

For fat guys like me it's also hard not to scrape the seat bolster on sport seats LOL.
But my 2002 M3 looked better than that.

The seats on my Brand new Q7 creased and have now split within 6 mos of use. And this is on both driver and passenger (split on driver)
My AUDI dealer says "Because its not in the seam its not covered under warranty" WTF ... Glad its a lease and ill get some cheap fixit if not rectified by them.

I said the same!!!
In the console there's a HUGE CD changer.
Why couldn't they just placed some of the controls up there instead of putting them all around the gearshifter.
The car had driven 55.000 km. The leather felt kinda strange. A bit plastic like. I have to say that I really dislike the audi leather in that car.

thats why i love idrive even though it has its flawstrue, true. It's kinda awkward that Audi got the exterior styling all sorted out (according to many...) but the interior is horrifying.
I was driving the car, a mate was in the passenger seat programming our destination. I shifted up to 4th gear, which nearly resultated in amputating his hand
They didn't have a clue what they're doing while designing the interior.
Have to say, in the netherlands the Carbon Fiber option for the S5 is just 600 euros. It's a f*cking steal compared to the 4000 euros Mercedes will charge you for even little carbon interior inlays :yikes:

perhaps a bit off-topic.
But whatabout the Jaguar XF?
I think it's a very good car.
Nice interior, nice handling, crappy exterior though...
Very good alternative to the more exenpensive 5er/E-class/A6.

it has got loads of gadgets you would find in a high-end german saloon, even more. So definitly a good step by Jaguar.

I thought (not 100% sure if it's still the case) that you only get Angel Eyes when you get Xenon. So Angel Eyes are preserved for the more expensive beamers. :bigpimp:

the Jaguar XF doesnt look half badWell, the front isn't really a looker... the rear is perfect, a little bit Aston Martin influence.
But the front... neh, looks japanese. And yes I know, everybody says the front looks Japanese but I think it's because it simply IS.

That's exactly what i said, However I was behind it in a red light one day and I was like Nuh something doesn't look right , Interior is flawless though

The XF was designed by the same guy who did the Aston Martin DB9 and Vantage... so it definitely borrowed some elements there. The rear is very nice but that front just looks bad, the concept CF was so much nicer, they should've just put it straight into production like that.

yea, its got a cool light strip at the bottom of the bumper where the chrome is, it lights up when the car turns on by starting in the middle and lighting up towards the end. looks sweet.

it's frustrating how concept cars don't make it to production as they are presented.

i totally agree the interior comments made about the audi, imho all Audis are like the Honda's of German cars (other than VW). They look great but once you drive them after 6 months or so they feel like sh/t, im not a fan... of course this is r8 aside.

Well, I've seen a few of these Audi's with the LED eyebrows or eye "lows" as I call em' and I have to say they grab more attention than the bimmer's STOCK angel eyes. If, however, you upgraded your ange eyes then I'm gonna give it to the bimmer for looks.

I would trade my car for an S8 in about 10 seconds. That car is the 8 series audi to get. With regard to Audi's, count me as a big fan. I have the Q7 and it's been a rock so far. I think the interiors of audi's are on par with BMW. It's the exteriors that left a little to be desired until this new LED look took shape of recent.

LED fan. I think the new Porsche LED'S are sick looking too. Saw it on a brand new Tech Art Cayenne Turbo. Pretty nasty and a bit more subtle then Audi's. My good friend just ordered the R8. Cant wait to take it for a ride!
