My sister bought a cpo 2004 528i. last month. My brother in law and sister thought the sales guy was fantastic. So much so, they urged me to buy my 335i coupe from him. So 2 days lat(er I put an order in. They took their car home the same day; but it had a few defects the dealer agreed to fix. The first one was a dent in the door. My sister gives it in for service and the tech tells her it can't be done. She leaves the car anyway because there were other things that needed fixing. She called the ca up immediately about the dent; and he said he would see what he could do. He called her up later with this story about how he would have to take the door off just to get to the dent. My sister was nice enough to tell him not to worry about it.
The second problem was my sister couldn't get her bluetooth working. The CA calls her up and tells her the car never had bluetooth and he was wrong when he told her it did when she bought it. Now this is a problem for my sister because she has a fairly long drive to work and she likes to talk on the phone. What are her options? Should we call BMWNA. If she doesn't get her bluetooth. i might pull my deal and buy the car from another dealership. Is that possible.? (My car will arrive at the port 6-27, so can i dump this deal and buy it from another dealership) Well i'm not sure if i want to go that route; but i don't feel right about doing buisness with someone who scammed my sister. Please advise the best possible course of action to take.
