AndyM, you owe me a supersprint.

1 thread. 2 knots. Many hours. Cannot see things up close very well any more. Fingers hurt like all hell.

Wheel ships today via USPS Overnight Express. I should pull an AssMan and post the tracking info for the world to see.

Looks like a Porsche part. Not too yellow. Just right. Keep leather chemicals off of stitches so they do not get washed out.

Steering wheel covers - all of them - look like asscake. We will not sell stuff that we wouldn't put in our own cars. Wheel covers, lame wheel pins, butt struts, etc all fall into this category.

Ohhhh :( I was lookin' forward to a leopard-print, faux-fur steering wheel cover! That'd rock with my cow-print, faux-fur seat covers!

Someone has them. 2-tone with M insignias on outboard downtubes. I made them back in the hey-day of LZ. Dunno who or where they are now. You could do the mesh windscreen with ///M logos if you are a person into logos.

Roll hoop covers were a PITA and we did not make good margins on them. I only pursured them to swat down a competitor. It worked. I slept better at night once we had them figured out and on sale.

I like it , i have seen a few things made by big name vendors(read ;not great vendors but big ) that i think were the brain child of many enthusiasts which are on the z3 board

I agree. I've come to the conclusion that most that make junk don't realize it. Hard to pay attention to detail if you do not know what detail is.
P.S. I flipped my space saver so the dish part faces up for more storage. Any progress making a wheel cover for it? Accommodating the dish complicates things.

Do you remember seeing Dennis Logan's Coupe at HC last year?
I think he used a stock front wheel (inverted and covered). I remember pointing it out to you behind The Marriott.
He & Penny were at Z3 Fest and I got another look at it...
Clever.

Hey Jon, how about doing mine in steel gray?
Just kidding, I wouldn't want the wheel off longer than overnight.
After all, mine gets driven...
Hard (5.8 mpg):drive:

the only nice package i know that andy had was the one he unboxed, and reboxed, and sent back to his brother in the basement of the AMTRAK station in chicago.... i left him alone to the wiles of the amtrak security guards because duty called..

by the way, i wonder how roadstergirl has working knowledge of andy's package... we'll just have to take her at her word of mouth, errr, word......

Do not remember any of the above.
HC is a non stop thing for me that appears to be over before it starts. Just too many things going on.
Any pics?
Do you have his email?

Here is Dennis Logan's spare:

It eats up a lot of space.

I have his email address if you need it (won't post it here).

Inbound now. I am assuming dish would be on top side. The Dennis Logan way would be cooler. But a lot more expensive. I will add that to list of things to do. The Logan method will be easier to secure too.

Based on my experiences, I have no JTD or UUCC products on my cars. You have to decide what products you put on yours.

Good points. I won't ever use Electrodyne or Racing Dynamics or RDSport or whatever they call themselves now either.

These LZ threads are the most fun. Everyone starts writing and posting all kinds of stuff. Never know what the threads are about or the posts for that matter.

But.....they are the best, since they seem to give everyone the chance to belt out some stuff thats been building up and didn't have a spot for.

As long as the Jon and andy are ok with it, lets keep them comming.

by the way isn't it Jon to be thanked for these side trips?

So................lets throw this accessory in there!
