My E46 2002 325i was totaled... :flush: No one was hurt.
I have been looking at the 135i. Are any dealers selling below MSRP on this model yet? :dunno:
My hand on a car purchase has been forced. Any info on the 1 and for the purchase process is welcomed.
Thanks in advance.

Ouch.. sorry to hear of your E46, glad no one was hurt. I know here they are only taking about 1k off the price, but I have heard of other people that have gotten great deals so I guess it depends on your dealer.
Do ED! :)

Per my local dealer, '08 1 series production is all spoken for - all his allocated units are pre-sold. If this is the pattern throughout the country, I wouldn't expect much of a discount ordering an '09, or buying an '08 off the lot (assuming that you can find one).

A lot of dealers are willing to sell below MSRP. Hell I got mine at 1k over ED invoice.

+1.
Especially if you are willing to buy out of state, you should be able to find what you want. And if you decide to do Euro Delivery, there's a sticky over at the ED forum with recommended salespeople across all states...

Adrian Avila - a site sponsor and ED specialist - is in Atlanta. You should send him an email or PM. Also, look into PDC re-delivery in Spartanburg SC... :D

I would love to do ED... but I don't have the time to wait as the e46 was my daily driver and my wife uses the X3. We did the PCD in 8/006 on the X3 and loved it. I doubt it wold workout for this time tho. Time line again.
The biggest problem I am running into is that there just aren’t many left on the lots and not much that isn’t already allocated as well. I am pretty picky on the way I want it and have limited funds as I wasn't ready to purchase for another year or so.
I'm going to keep working at it tho... Thanks for all the help thus far from everyone.

Do you mind sharing the name of the dealer and CA? You can PM me if you don't want to post these kind of details.
And do post some pictures of your new car, I haven't seen many Crimson 1's.

NO I was not at fault... I was traveling 55 on a rural road (speed limit) with the cruse control on(mainly to conserve fuel) and as I came up on the intersection the silver van was stopped at the cross road. When I was about 20-25 ft from going through it he comes across and I hit the breaks and steer to avoid hitting him and hit him in the passenger read side. He spun around (don't now how manny times) and came to a rest where pictured. He said he never saw me. All I saw was the air bag after I thought to myself "NO HE DIDN'T!" HE was given a ticket and admitted fault with his insurance company. Anyway I think I will be ok. Just a few seatbelt bruises and sore like hell for a few days. Still a few nagging pains when I'm tired that I think will clear up over time.
The new 135i will help :bigpimp:
