If so, has anyone retrofitted one to a M Coupe? This sounds like a piddly thing, but for those of us who suffer from allergies, the filter can work wonders. So far, this is the only modern car I've had that doesn't have one.

they have the same HVAC, that there is no pollen filter available or retrofitable. Never heard of one, either.

I can not speak from real experience on the "M" coupe as I have not gone in to change mine lately... Here is why! On my previous ride, Z3 2.8 coupe, there is indeed a HVAC filter! It is located at the back of the system behind the Console, on the glovebox side. You have to drop the glovebox out to get to it. It pulls out down and to the side. The "WHY" is that this is not a easy task... I know that the Z3 roadster is the same as the coupe in this regard and sice the "M's" have te same HVAC system, I would assume they have the filter as well.

EXCELLENT! Now all that is needed is some sort of diagram and parts list and it should be retrofittable. The 2.8 Coupe shouldn't differ in the HVAC system too much from an M version.
Anyone able to lookup parts and/or assembly instructions for a HVAC filter on a Z3 2.8 Coupe?
In the meantime, I'll try having a looksee behind the glovebox on my car. That does seem like the logical location given that the outside air intake is nearby.
