i think this is a pretty cool way of a manufacture offering info at a cost, i know most manufactures would rather keep it a secret but
nice to know that updated info is available if needed, i emailed them and they said that the pricing published on the page is the discounted rate:yikes:
also nice that paypal can be used...

i think i would also rather pay the masters here for info that they have and expeirence
but thought i would share what i found

BMW TIS ONLINE (http://www.bmwtis.com/)

Does the day start and end at the time when you initially log on or is it a calendar day (ends at Midnight)?
Does it allow printing of what you look at?

How about the "free" version? (www.bmwtis.net) :eeps:

I find it funny that they think they're offering you special access for these prices. I guess you'd have to operate a shop with high turnover of BMWs to justify a $3000 subscription a year.

Your best bet is still to become friends with a tech at a BMW dealer that will have a CenterNet login and get your info that way. :D

that is a redirect to the same info/website, if you log onto that one it will take you to the same thing(must have the dealer password etc....)
the bmwtis.net is for dealers only the bmw tis online is for paying shops or independents. but both are the same thing other then one is a type of public pay for entry and the other is a employee type entry

actually 30.00 a month is not bad others like, all data online is about the same but it is not as specific to the bmw models

but 30.00 a month is high if your only use is private use and not a shop where the customer pays for it anyways

$30/month? Nope, $30/DAY. The monthly rate is $300. Very high for the casual user.

I have a ETK and TIS from Dec 2002 that I doubt I will get rid of. :-)

Yes, and poorly designed...

"We're sorry, but the BMW TIS website was designed for Internet Explorer 5.0+ and Netscape_6.0+ Web-Browsers running on the Microsoft Windows operating system.

Adobe Acrobat files can be "locked" so that printing is not possible. You can see if an acrobat file allows printing by opening the file in Acrobat Reader and going to File -> Document Info -> Security.

here is the reply:
Thank you for contacting us.

The 1 month subscription is actually a 30 consecutive day subscription.

The site uses Acrobat and allows printing but not downloading.
