it all depends on how mechanically inclined you are, if you have done stuff like it before, you wont have trouble, if not, might take you a little longer, maybe at most 4-5 hrs.

oh ok. well good lol i know a lil bit. lol
If this car is your DD and you do a lot of stop and go, city driving. Don't do this, your going to lose some low-end torque which is what you need around town and to keep your MPG's up.

I think you lose maybe 2-3 mpg max but get 10 horsepower so its a fair trade if you need top end.

yeah. its all good gas is nothing compared to power lol.. i heard it adds like 25 by some one who did his m3. but o well powers power.
make sure you take off the actual manifold of slowly and keep it level at all times, otherwise youll be kicking yourself for a long time.

For the time and cost it's not worth the small almost unnoticeable difference, some people that say it makes a massive difference, it's in your head. :thumbdwn:

Hence why I said 10 horsepower (AT THE CRANK, some people always think 10 horsepower goes directly to the wheels). Pulling a manifold off any bmw six cylinder is a P.I.T.A.

Unless you're on the track, it's not worth it. It gives you gains from maybe 4000 RPM and up. If you're above 4000 RPM in your DD often, you have a problem with your driving habits.
For anything that's driven on the road more than the track, the switch is stupid. Stick with the M52 mani. You'll never notice the 10HP, but the lost torque will sure as hell be missed.
