What up guys. I have -2.0degrees camber on my left front strut that can not be adjusted any further towards positive. I believe it was in a collision before my ownership, but regardless I need it fixed because its eating up tires. My question is do you all think an adjustable stress bar will fix the problem or would new struts and some adjustable camber plates be the better choice? Thanks

here's a link to understanding some alignment angles. pay particular attention to "sai", which will generally indicate if the fault lays with a strut or other suspension component, or even both.

hope this helps.

ps-if the shop doing the alignment doesn't know what the sai is, then find another one.

By "stress bar" did you mean a strut tower bar or a sway bar? I don't see how either would solve your problem.
You need to find a reputable shop that can tell you what your real problem is. If your shock towers are warped or mushrooming then you need to have that fixed. They can fail or, at the least, be mishapen enough for camber plates not to fit properly. On the other hand this could be as simple as a bent control arm.
You need a proper diagnosis before spending any money.

Thanks gents, I was referring to a strut tower bar, and the only reason I thought that might help is that it might be able to push the towers out a little, giving me .1 or .2 positive degrees. I did get the car up in the air and found that the shock tower is slightly bent(thank you straight edge) so that will probably do it. Anyone tried the bavarian auto sport coil over kits or the springs? The fact that they don't disclose who makes it for them has me a little leery.
