Help!!

Hi guys,

My B.M.W 318i has just died!
Head Gasket failed this morning. Turned out there was an air lock in the system even though i had bled it twice. I'm having it fixed but not sure i will trust it again.
So im looking for a new car should i let this put me off B.M.W's?
I was thinking of a 318ti?

Please help Me.....

+1 on the Kia.

No offense, but this wasn't at all the BMW's fault. The headgasket doesn't blow from air lock, it blows from overheating. Obviously you didn't bleed it properly, then ignored the fact it was overheating. If you drive with the car's temp out of where it should be, what did you expect?

I didn't run it hot. It was knats knacker over half way until the fatefull morning when i noticed it had overheated at which point i stopped. It had started overheating a week before but i went to a near by garage who told me viscous coupling wasn't working. So i had it changed and thought all was well. As it turns out.
Never Mind :(
