Picked this up this past weekend. (the 4th) Needs a little TLC.
133K. 5sp. The fuel consumption tells me I'm getting 6MPG! I know I am in the mid 20's. So I need to get on that soon. I think just about every door clip was broken - my dad must have owned a BMW at one time I'd say judging from the "DON"T SLAM THE @#! DOOR!@#&" things he used to yell at me for when I was a kid.
I washed the dirt off just before I took these shots. Needs to be buffed a bit. I also did replace the clips. The only ones that weren't broke were the ones that held the map pockets to the door.
A few pics. (last one - the beverage on the right is for me; the one on the left is for all you young'ns!:D

Hey whats up with the front bumper? IT looks like the car got hit and they put a front bumper on from a previous year im pretty sure its a 1993 bumper.. im saying that because the skirts are painted but the front bumper isnt so it looks weird.
nice ride, you should get a pair of fog lights and wire them straight to you head lights, makes a huge difference. it would look even better if you got the bottom of you bumpers sprayed too.

last owner must have removed the grey coating on the side skirts. But was too cheap to get the front and back sprayed.

What kind of glue did you use to reattach the map pockets and door pieces back together. I need to tackle this project soon!

Yeah, the PO painted the skirts with a latex paint that I am in the process of removing. I like the gray all the way around. He did a crappy job of it as well. :( The paint just peels off.

FOGS are the next thing I am doing, now that the door panels don't fall off!! everytime I open my doors..:)
EXACTLY!!

I used some GORILLA GLUE and hot glue. I used the video entitled "3 BMW e36 3 Series M3 Door Panel Repair" found on YOUTUBE to help. Good video if you want to see it done first. ( I do not have an industrial size glue gun  but it worked anyways!)

Looks good!
You can change the fuel consumption adjustment factor in the OBC hidden menu. If you search around for unlocking the OBC you'll find lots of info on it.
I'd definitely get foglights pronto. But I don't think you can wire them to the headlight circuit, I think it already is pretty much at max capacity.

I messed around with the OBC but haven't checked the MPG yet. It was set the default of 1000. My calculation for correction was .24 so would I then enter that in as 1240? That's what I did and I'll just have to check it out today.

I'm sorry, I don't remember exactly how to input it. No instructions on how to input on the OBC unlock guides? I'll try to find one that I remember has detailed instructions for that.
