How difficult would it be to add some sort of Cruise-Control indicator? If not something in the cluster, then even a lamp/LED in one of the knock-outs adjacent to the steering wheel would be fine.

What do you want to indicate, that it is on?

Pretty much ... I can't think of anything else that you'd need to/be able to indicate. And by "On", I mean engaged. Some other car makers have a discreet on/off switch, and the engage/disengage is a separate state of the cruise-control when it is "On".
