That link comes up in pretty much any E36 car maintenance search on every major search engine, so yeah, it's been around forever and most people should have come across bimmer DIY at some point. If they haven't then they've missed out!

Yeah, very common but always good to have it mentioned for the newbies. It's a great reference.
