HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just bought a 2003 BMW M3 and would like some assistance ASAP. I need some first hand, I own an M3 knowledge.
Ideal would be a local BMW M3 mechanic that can advise me of what I can and should do.
If you're available for questioning and maybe some hands on help please contact me,
631-838-8215, my name is Timothy.
****Please call at anytime, please, I'll be waiting. Please don't hesitate****
Thanks you so much in advance,
Timothy
ADDITION:
Scenario- Test drove car Thursday night, blown away. Bought car Saturday(1 p.m)-still quite happy. Around 6 p.m Saturday SES light comes on and SMG light comes on. SMG light seems now to be coming on intermittently but the SES light has not gone of or even flickered for that matter. I disconnected the battery to reset the ECU and restarted but the SES light did not go off. I took it to Autozone, they pulled a code P1717.
PS- I have not been able to beat on the car because I don't even know how to use the SMG yet, lol. I have only had it in auto mode because I'd rather study how to use the manual mode first rather than mess something up. Although it doesn't seem difficult, lol.
Please, any help would be greatly appreciated. I am about to drop off the vehicle at the owners house and demand a refund.
