I picked up my car this morning. Came in on Saturday night and Rolf picked up me and deliver me to Renaissance Hotel.
Went to the Marienplatz yesterday where the Christopher Street Day festival (Gay and Lesbian Festival) was going on. It was not as much fun as the Gay Pride Parade in San Francisco (I used to go to school and work in the Bay Area). Talked to some of the festival goer and was told Munich is a very conservative city and the festival only started 5 years ago.
Took delivery of the car at around 11:30 and drove to Harms right away to do the paperwork since I will be leaving tomorrow.
Then I hit the road to (try to) drive to Brenner Pass (per Jspira's suggestion) to spent my free half-day.
Unfortunate;y, I had to turn around after about 150 KM. The weather was just too bad, rain was pouring down so hard I was having a hard time seeing more than 150 meter ahead of me. As rain got harder, I decided to turn around since there will not be much to see or drive.
But the little driving I did convinced me that I need to do this again. I am now scheming to figure out a way to do ED again next year, and next time I will do the full 14 days.
Btw, when I went to do my paperwork at the Harms, I saw ED cars parked outside that had been there since at least July 6 (as indicated by their ED plates.)
