Does anybody know for certain what size the seatbelt anchor bolts are?
Most bolt sizes are listed in the ETK, but I could not find these.
I used a 16mm wrench to remove the outermost driver's side bolt, but when measuring the threads, it's a lot closer to 7/16-20 than an M-12x1.20.
The 20 tpi guage was a perfect match and the closest Metric was 1.20 but still rode up on the threads.
I just ordered Simpson Platinum 6pt Camloc restraints and I'm trying to get the hardware lined up.
Thanks!

7/16" - 20, 7/8" long. (one that attaches to the left side of the drivers seat side).

Thanks Ron!
Interesting that it has a Metric head (neither 5/8 or 11/16 wrenches fit).

My 5/8 stuff fits. My bolt head measures .624. I use a 16 mm tubing (can't think of the real name at the moment) crow foot to torque it.

Simpson Platinum (polyester) 6pt Camloc Restraints should be here tomorrow.
Pulled out the driver's seat tonight to see what I was up against for the inboard attachment point.
Outboard: 7/16-20 SAE
Inboard: M-10x1.5 Metric
You'd think I was changing a starter on a Chevy:mad:
I'll pick up some M-10 bolts tomorrow, the rest looks pretty easy.

I just got done installing seats and harnesses in my E30 M3. Took me 2 FULL weekends (including the 3 day Memorial Day weekend). It was not as straight forward as it should be.
This is in addition to the week or so I had to have custom mounts made as the Sparco ones (that was told were a direct fit) weren't even close to fitting.

No doubt seats are a PITA. I've got 4 different ones in the house now, just to find out which one fits me and the car best. Decided on the Sparco Evo2 and spent nearly 3 hours getting it mounted to the speedware rails, etc. the other night. Always harder than it should be.
Randy - let us know what you think about those harnesses. Is it the first set you've run in the roadsters?

Yes, this is the first set for (either) M Rdstr.
I have put lap/harness belts in the Healey and MGBs before though.
I'll put up some pictures once I get them fitted and again with the seat(s) back in the car.

Bummer!
They shipped wrap around lap belts instead of bolt in.
Simpson is going to get two pairs made up and shipped out tomorrow.
Should have them by Wednesday...
Our club hosts an SCCA National Tour this weekend, going to cut it close!
