Anyone know a shop where I can get a modified CDV installed? I know it's supposedly an easy DIY, but I just don't want to deal with the bleeding. :)

Either Haury's in Lake City or Car Tender on Capitol Hill are familiar with the job. You're looking at about one hour of labor at $80 to $90 an hour.
Doing the CDV delete is definitely a worthwhile mod.
BTW posting this type inquiry on the BMW CCA Puget Sound Region BB will get you better response.
