Track Tire Recommendations for E90 335i

Been doing quite a bit more HPDE time this year, and have decided a set of dedicated track tires is in my future. Anyone have any suggestions? I have a spare set of 18" 162s and a spare set of 17" Rial Salernos that I normally use for my Blizzaks. I'd prefer to use either of these to mount the new tires on.

Using your 17" wheels should be more economical and offer a good selection in race tires. If this is your first set of R compounds, you might want to start with a set of shaved Kumho Victo V700s or Yoko A048 MH compound. The next step in in grip (but faster wear) would be something like the BFG R1.
