At this point, even Sue is becoming concerned:yikes:

Since we knew we were going to do the Evo Schools, we kicked off this autocross season buying two sets of Hoosiers (8 tires). And with that same order, I included a set (4 more tires) of S03s to use on the street in the gray car.

Now that we were able to get into another Evo School, I decided to have another set of Hoosiers put on the oem wheels to replace the set that have 100+ runs on them.

I can think of no other time in my life that I've bought four sets (16 tires) of rubber for one car in a period of two months.:loco:

I'm buying rubber commodities.

Because of the tires, or Tgravo's trip to Europe? (with all those girls)

I think Randy and Sue going through tires is a much, much better bet.

I'd think that was funny, if you were talking about somebody else!

Hello, my name is Randy Forbes and I am a tire-aholic...

Anybody care to take a crack at outlining the twelve steps to a purer life?

I don't know (my wife is wondering what the hell I'm going to do with the 'mountain-o-tires' (30+) that I'm getting with the racer.

I would think step 12 would be if steps 1-11 don't work, find a tire sponsor or at least contingency awards :dunno:

I'm not bragging -- I'm confessing.

Your a wheel/tire holic if you have trouble remembering how may wheels you actually own.

Your a wheelaholic if you buy a set because you might need them someday.

Your a wheel/tire holic if your UPS person puts them in your shed for you when you are not at home.

Your a wheel/tireholic if when buying Drapes you mumble I could buy ____many wheel for the price of this junk and do.

For the Z3:
oem wheels & tires
8 track wheels & 6 Kuhmo escat(sp) tires for autox
5 Fiske wheels & 5 Pzeroes left over from E36 M3
spare.
----
For the M3:
4 OEM (bargan bought on impulse
4 OEM & 4 Continentals
4 17" & 4 Haakapileta Snows
4 SSRs & Kuhmos for track.
E46 spare

1 left over E36 wheel & snow tire

I have to show this post to Sue...:yikes:

When my UPS driver loaded up his truck last Thursday and saw the Hoosiers, he said to the guy "those must be going to 1182 etc., etc." The guy looks at the manifest and wondered how he knew...
And yes, he puts them in the garage for me:thumbup:

Sounds like me. A couple of weeks ago I just happened to be home when the UPS guy came by. He remarked that it wasn't a proper day unless he had a delivery at my address. :)

The UPS guy we had before used to carry dog cookies for our then mutt. She would climb into the truck to seek him out while he was int eh back getting the packages.

For the M Roadster:

4 OEM with Yoko AVS Intermediates on the car
4 OEM tireless
4 Hoosier R3S)3 (used)
Thinking about 4 Falkens for Street Tire AutoX.

For the M3:

4 OEM with Mich Pilot Sports
4 OEM with Sumitomo HRTZ IIs (track tires)
4 BBS wheel with Mich PSCs (used) waiting to go on
Soon to be 4 OEM (or OZ Super Leggera) for AutoX. Useed BFG R1s to start, then probably Hoosiers.

If you stopped behaving like this THEN we would consider it questionable!

Or if you installed Goodyear run flats.

all I saw was something about Randy and Sue going through a dozen or so rubbers?!?:dunno:

If that's true I understand why your name is "Randy".

If you really want to figure out something, determine how many miles you got out of those tires.

I think I got about 13 miles out of my last set of Auto-X tires.

Hey Zeegar, long time no see. I haven't had time for RC in a while. :hi:

This is extremely OT, but oh well...

Roadstergal,
Please stop changing your avatar. Just when I get used to one it changes again and I start staring with my :jawdrop: .

P.S. Can someone add a :frustrated: smilie? :D

It's a running gag in OT... I can't switch between a serious avatar - or none - for the main boards and a frivolous one for OT. :dunno:
