Sorry to say, but no BMW 7-Series or M-Sport in the world will ever take the place of the S65 AMG out of my site. Specially this one:

2008 Mercedes S65 AMG - RENNtech Edition 704HP & 802TQ

Facts: 0-60mph in 4.1 seconds. 1/4 mile in 11.40 @ 125mph!

And also, this is the most badass looking car in its class. It looks better than most cars out there! It's amazing! I have a 2007 Audi S8 and used to have a 330i, but sold that... :( but the S8 doesn't compare in looks.

Now, compare that to my Audi S8... which only has 450HP but its AWD.

So, a 5.7L V10 from a Gallardo or a Mercedes AMG hand-built 6.0L V12 Twin-Turbo for you??? I might trade my S8 for a Mercedes S63 AMG or S65.

It would seem that this is the Off Topic category.

The S8 has a Gallardo V10, but it's too loud lol. It's got power and throughs you back in the seat, but man... its really loud. I might just buy a S63 without trading in the S8.

Yes, and this thread is about automobiles.

If your pocketbook is fat, then it's great. With gas price of premium gone over $4/gal, that car is very thirsty IMO. But like menteioned, if your bank account is fat, feeding it is not an issue then.

Overpriced.

Too much power without the right engineering to actually put that power down the road.

I don't like the looks.

Nay

Will take the M5 over this any day.

Mercedes are for people who don't like to turn off traction control.

Give me the S8 any day over the S. You never, EVER see an S8 on the road, however Benzes are a dime a dozen.

Plus, all S class look the same. The $200k one looks almost the identical to the $75k one, sans bumpers and wheels.

To the average person they're the same car.

That's because all the ones they ship here are the Long wheel base ones. The only time a short wheel base S has been here is the S320 of 2006.

Nah, I am looking to get a 3-Series because the S8 isn't all great with 4.00 gas prices and so I wanted a sporty-sedan with great gas mileage which would be a 3-Series. I'm not looking to go deep into a 2008 328i or 335i only cause it's not worth me paying 40K in one day over a 3-series, its the best car in class and I love it but I just don't want it.
