Disable ABS? 1989 750iL

Hello!
I am seeking information as to how to disable / disconnect the abs wiring system on our 1989 bmw 750il. The abs braking system turns on shortly after driving begins and even without ever applying the brakes, making it impossible to drive very far. Thank you in advance for your knowledge and help in solving this problem.

thank you very much for your insight to the website that you directed us to. We found the information that we had been searching for...and were successfully able to disconnect / disable the abs system on our 750il.
