MOMO- Not to change the topic, but how do you like the 08 Grand Cherokee? Thinking about that for my wife- she likes them.
Good luck on the new car!

i will have to go through this 5 page thread to see what's up with the annoyance to some people. the Jeep is really nice and i have pretty standard 6 cylinder laredo and i really like it best thing about it that it has full time warranty on power train i think thats just the best warranty ever. IMO. go for one its pretty cool. I cant do universal garage thing any help???

Thanks Momo for your feedback-

Redhog- I was just curious on your overall impressions of the Jeep. Now you were driving the hot rod version-I am looking at a Limited loaded up with the new Diesel (gobs of torque-decent mpg). Would love to hear your overall impresssions- never owned a Jeep-

THANKS-

Great color combo. The 535 will be a lot more fun to drive than the 7 for sure.
Enjoy!

Well, I sold it after 8 months. It was a bit too raw for me. Fit and finish obviously not up to par with BMW, but I expected that.
The seats, at least on the SRT8, were too narrow for me, and had I test drove it more extensively, I would have caught this.
I had zero quality issues with the vehicle while I had it.
The MyGig navigation and audio system is 10x better than iDrive...touch screen, hard drive based, USB, bluetooth, etc. It all worked well.
The lifetime powertrain warranty did not apply to SRT8's.
Would I buy a GC Limited, especially the new diesel with all that torque? Yes, I would if I needed it.

I own an SRT8 Jeep (2008) and a 545i. I LOVE the Jeep..sure it's fast but it's built really well, smooth, torque beyond belief, solid, just great. Mygig is perfect. One of the best cars of my life...fantastic. Zero issues in 13K miles..nada!

Seats a great or me...guy above must be bigger than I :dunno:...I'm 205 and 6' 1"

Yes. I'm 235 and they were a bit snug. Also, reaching between the seat and the door to adjust the power seats is an exercise in crushed fingers and futility- there is simply not enough room.

i still didnt take pics by i will soon, problems with the 7 that it's 2002 they're infamous with the problems, 1 transsmison, 2 navigation, rough idiling, clunk noises when shifting, ac turns on off by it self, car dies and the following day nothing happend , i can list a 13 pages of service rcords and stuff changed under warranty. would i buy one again :dunno:. things are not as well as it used to be

Your 7 is looking sweet!

yeah its sweet ride , but when you have to take it to the delaer twice a month and out of no where the car ont start and then the following morning it starts , that makes you pissed off for a 80k$ car and warranty was over so it had to go.

Watch for your 535i too. I just recieve my car for a month and problems are occuring already.. so pissed

Freaking long crank almost every day was not that bad but yesterday My car just suddenly become slower, it doesn't accelerate like It used to be the first week. Later that day, my friend drove it the first time and suddenly say "Are you sure this is 300hp?!, something wrong!" Basically, He confirmed my feeling was right about the car being slow. Can't imagine what will happen if this car is one year old...

The long crank should have been enough to take it to the dealer. I must point out that for every one of the 'I'm dissatisfied posts', there are probably many more that are satisfied so have no need to post. I for one am satisfied. :)
