I would like to start off with a big “Thank you” to Mark, Anthony, Eric, and all the boys at Helix for putting in the time and effort to create an outstanding product for our cars. Several months ago, I had the opportunity to be one of the “Beta Testers” for the Attaché on my 335i. After some research and tweaking everything was perfect. After taking delivery of my 135i 3 weeks ago, I knew Helix had to be my first stop. Luckily they had just found a way for the Attaché to work with the new ECU cars. I was extremely excited. A few days later I had brought the car in and the Attaché was installed. I was the first one to the Tune on the 135i. We had a few issues here and there but after tweaking things a few times everything finally came together. The 135i runs flawlessly, in every gear it pulls and pulls and never wants to stop. 3rd gear is just insane at “WOT” at 5,000 RPM’s you get this feel like “Oh crap, I shouldn’t be going to fast”. The boost comes on smooth every time and has this nice punch to it with plenty of torque and power throughout the entire RPM range. The only “Check Engine Light” I had was the first time we put the Attaché on. It came on during “WOT” in 3rd gear. But that was one time and has been resolved. With the final map that was loaded, I have not had any issues nor did I get any check engine lights. I can definitely say that the Attaché is a tremendous product. I put a lot of miles on my cars. Since putting the Attaché on my 335i, I have put 23,000 Miles on my 335i with no issues and no “CEL’s”. The only check engine lights I have gotten were recently with some of the new maps we have been playing with for the new ECU cars. The 335i will receive the final map that’s on my 135i tomorrow. We installed the Attaché on the 135i when the clock hit 700 Miles, I put 2,000 miles on the previous 2 maps that I tested. At 2,700 Miles we loaded the new map, I am currently at 3,500 miles. I drove the 135i hard in the heat and at night when it was cooler and it is outstanding. This was definitely (Once again) that best “bang for the buck” mod, it makes my 135i that much more enjoyable and the best part about the Attaché is that it feels like the car was built like this from the factory. The car drives perfect and the power is always “on tap”. The Attaché is a great mod for both the 135i and the 335i. Once again, thanks to everyone for at Helix for such a great product!!!
