Details on repairing scratches/nicks....

I remember a website that had incredible details on how to repair stone nick and scratches.

I remember it had to do with using a paperhole punch to punch out 1500 and 2000 grit sand paper and gluing them to the erasures on pencils so you could wet sand the touch up paint.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?!?!?
