2008 M5 Logic 7

My M5 says Logic 7 on the window sticker. The car also has the enhanced premium sound option. It sounds so so. I got the manual and read that under audio settings goto surround settings then click on surround and it is supposed to pop up theater or concert hall and turn on logic 7. When I click surround mine does nothing. Does the optional enhanced premium sound option delete the logic 7 ????????? Thanks

I believe the settings, concert hall and theatre are the prologic settings aren't they - I do not think there is a setting that is labeled prologic.

That is right.......But the manual says click on surround and then you have the choice of concert hall or theater. On mine you click surround and nothing happens. Im trying to figure out if it is defective or the enhanced premium sound option deletes the logic 7.

I'm no expert but I believe all M5's come with Logic 7. I believe the "enhanced premium sound" means Logic 7 + CD changer.

In that same area of the I-drive, if you have an equalizer, you have L7. If not, I stand corrected on my assumptions.
