The sirius satellite tuner + antenna was installed recently (mid of July 2008) into my 2005 BMW 330i (E46 ZHP). I purchased both units from Tischer BMW brand new. Sirius service came free for 1 yr; which is good until July 3 2009.

I decided to mount the tuner in the cubby hole in trunk w/ velcro (no bracket not purchased); with a quick mod to the plastic shelf (cut out a hole in the back to run the wires). Works like a charm, and should be about a 30min install job for your E46. FYI... i have the single CD/MP3business radio.
Selling for $365 shipped (UPS gnd), i paid $446.00 shipped.
