I am looking at a 2006 CPO BMW and felt a shimmy in the wheel while driving at 25 to 60 mph. Told the dealer he needed to take this out before I would purchase.
He sent the car to his shop and they told him that the tires just needed to warm up??? (They are P zeros if that matters). I have never heard of a steering wheel shimmy caused just by cold tires. I have heard of flat spotting due to sitting for a long time, but this was not the case.
Any thoughts guys? Am I being taken for a ride?
