My cars in near perfect condition other than these ennoying rust bubbles on the mirror mounting, I was hoping someone could direct me to a site that would have directions on how to remove the mirror so that I could correct the problem myself.
Or if anyone has ever done this themselves feel free to share what you did!
Thanks in advance guys:thumbup:

whoops, didn't mean for the pictures to be that big, but at least you can really see the problem haha

Swing your car door out, remove the inner triangular trim (by hand and/or with flat screwdriver) where the mirror meets the window sill, unbolt the three bolts, disconnect the power connector for the mirror motor, and slide this cable out through the rubber grommet and the whole mirror will be free. Be careful not to lose the rubber surround on the outside of the mirror. It's the easiest job ever you won't have problems.

YES! the little plastic triangle has two clips on the bottom half that slide up and down. There is one more on the top half that you have to just pry off with a butter knife. once it pops out pull the triangle upward and it should come easily.

Yeah it's just a prying and slipping-it-off job, shouldn't end up breaking anything if you pull the trim off while it remains vertical.
