I'm currently in an awkward situation with tires on my mom's 325i sport.

Especially after last Saturday's "very mild" track driving, the front tires are pretty much near bald. Like, some places are near the minimum tire wear indicator.

On the other hand, the right rear one has some life left. And the left rear one was just replaced brand new, due to a road hazard replacement.

I had originally planned to try and make it thru the end of this season, switch to winters, and then mount for new fresh non-RFTs when spring rolls around. However, the front tires worry me, especially their hydroplaning resistance. It wasn't great a few months ago, and I can imagine how bad it is now.

So what should I do:

Just buy new front ones that won't match the rears? Swap out all 4 now? Hold on until the end of the season?

Note: I cannot rotate; staggered setup.

The tires (except the one just replaced) were OEM and came with the car when we purchased it as a CPO. The Bridgestone Potenzas that are absolute rubbish. Much like the gearbox. I'll check the date of manufacture if i can find it tomorrow.
