Does your M6 mirror have a 1plug connector or a 3plug connector? Is your factory mirror a 1plug connector or a 3plug connector?
If the connectors are the same then it's plug and play...if not you have a problem. I believe a build date of 9/05 has a 3plug.

do you have a link for that item? cuz, I saw it on ebay for cheap, a week ago. and now, I cannot find any of them on ebay so I might have to go through the
dealership which I don't really want to. if you have a link of the item with a good price, let me know!

If you knew already, why did you ask :dunno:.
I wasn't too sure that's why I said "I believe". ;)
Either way good luck to you with the install.

Hey Mike, if you look at the door panel there are a few screws to take out that are covered with plastic tabs. If I remeber correctly, the door handle and arm rest have screws. I also took out the mini speaker that is bt. the door card and window. When the screws are out, the rest are clips that hold the door and can easily be snapped off at the bottom. Then the door has to be lifted up over the pop up button. It's really not that hard. I've done it several times with each door.

What I noticed in 2009 650i mirrors is that it doesn't have a black border around the mirror glass, which somehow increases the visibility area, not sure if that makes a difference anyhow.

I suppose we'll have to wait until Oct to get a look in person :dunno:
Good that BMW is making incremental updates to the M6. The new tails and mirrors, the new iDrive and the comp package. All good stuff, but to me not quite enough to coerce me into another so soon. I'm still thinking Audi R8

I drive my M6 maybe 3 days a week.... The R8 just feels so tossable. The M6 handles "OK" but the R8 is a whole different animal.

it just so funny that how come R8 is faster then an M6. R8 has same Engine uses on RS4 which is V8.
M6 V10 : 0~60 4.6Sec R8 V8 : 4.1 Sec.
Get it now!!

Don't sleep on the Carrera 4S either... that new double clutch trans is very nice. (BMW needs to get with the program and equip the M6 with something like that)

BMW is with the program... Have you seen what they are doing to the M5 :yikes: the new BHP is going to be 575BHP and with a twin-clutch Direct Shift Gearbox.
No doubt this will be applied to the M6 also :D
